Soupkitchen
Since November 4 2024 the Studio Beirut soupkitchen is cooking meals for the people who are staying in refugee centres in Beirut because their houses and villages are devastated. For at least the coming 4 winter months we will cook for these people who can’t go home and are in need of many basic things, including a meal. We use the kitchen of Brazzaville to cook 3500 meals a month that are evenly distributed at several refugee centres by Nation Station.

Kids art workshops
Studio Beirut supports the kids art workshops by Beirut Art Centre. With Artists in Shelters the Beirut Art Center will run 140 art therapy workshops nationwide. In response to the current humanitarian crisis in Lebanon, where over 1.2 million people have been forced to leave their homes—including 95,000 children—Beirut Art Center launched Artists in Shelters, an initiative that aims to bring the healing power of art to displaced children. Artists in Shelters brought together a team of Artist Facilitators with diverse skills and backgrounds to provide young children displaced from their homes with workshops for creative expression.
